Avoid at all costs.
If I could give Health Alliance zero stars I would.
Their regulations are designed to prevent their customers from receiving coverage for procedures and treatments recommended by their in-network doctors. Health Alliance's appeals process exists only to make their customers feel like they are taking action, and almost never results in an actual reversal of a coverage decision. While some of Health Alliance's employees are lovely people who try to help, their corporate policies are intentionally obstacles to coverage.
Employers, take your business elsewhere. Your employees deserve better.
Employees, select an alternate insurance option from your employers' choices.
